The original poem is organized into its two books, cantos, identified stanzas and verses. Research and navigation are maintained separately from the source transcription.
A cultural magazine
The publication explores gauchesque literature, nineteenth-century Río de la Plata history, rural culture, literary criticism and reception. Documented evidence, modern interpretations and digital reconstructions are distinguished.
Our method
